Welcome

Left this earth at 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2001 at 38 years old.

I welcome you with all my love so glad you're safely home
I've waited for you oh so long it's here where you belong
I knew that you would make this trip and safely would arrive
You know that you will always be forever at My Side
I honor you for all the things that you have done for Me
I know that you are in My Heart and always that will be
You are a very special friend I watched you all your life
I wanted so to greet you when you came to see the light
You always had a special gift to know just how to live
So walk with me my special friend there is much to see
And all these gifts I give to you for you loved so tenderly
I'll take the time to show you what all your love has taught
The gift of all the precious jewels your heart has always sought.

Obituary

Uncle Jeff
Oh where to even start... Uncle Jeff and I didn't talk or see each other that much, but when we did it felt like we were best friends. Although we didn't talk every day, I miss him as if we did. I don't know of anyone in the world that didn't like or love this man. He was funny, kind, and honest. He reminds me of me in the honesty part... if you don't want to hear the truth don't ask us! For those of you who knew him there isn't much I can say that you don't already know. For those of you who didn't, I'm very sorry that you didn't have the opportunity. The thing that I will remember most about him is his laugh. He could give you the giggles just by laughing. He had lively eyes and a beautiful smile, and of course, nice legs ::grin:: that's a McGinnis thing after all ::wink:: Jacquie, the pic of him on the steps is just for you, sweetie!
My uncle died of AIDS, but he did not die alone. I don't want to preach here, but I feel I do have to mention this. Please educate yourself about AIDS, there's no reason to turn away, to let someone suffer this alone. I had the opportunity to hug and kiss him one last time in June, I'm so glad I did. If someone you know has AIDS please don't miss that opportunity out of fear.      Friends and family of Jeff: I would absolutely love to put your words and stories on this page about him. If you just want to talk about him or tell a story that you shared with him, please email me so I can put it on here.

Love to you all,
