*Update 3/29/08* After 3 and a half months of fighting for his life, Ayden got too tired and is now flying with the angels in heaven. I hope he enjoys his soaring freedom.. no more surgeries, no more pain, no more needles, no more fighting. We'll miss him so very much, and hope to hold him one day in heaven. What's in a Name?       Hi everyone! I figured I'd give a little explanation about the name of this site. Way back when I started this site on Angelfire it was named, Home of Ice and Rae, which is Ron's nickname and my middle name. At that time we were chatting alot and used those names. That was a very LONG time ago and we grew out of it. When I decided to get our own domain name I had a tough decision to make. So, for months I tried to think of a new name. I was playing with my wedding band one day and engraved inside is "I Promise You Love & Honesty". This has a couple meanings, first and most important, it is our life long promise to each other. Secondly it's "our song". It's a gorgeous Hawaiian song (we met and married in Hawaii) that's lyrics describe everything we feel for each other. It became our song shortly after we met. It seemed that whenever we were together that song would be on the radio. We also danced to it at "both" our weddings! Anyway, you can find the lyrics to it here. And/or listen to our song here. Takes a bit to download but it's worth it. This song means so much to us and is a complete expression of our love for each other. So what better name for a website about our family and our love than Love & Honesty! :-) Rebecca       Thanks for visiting us!! My name is Rebecca and I'm married to a handsome retired Marine, named Ron. Ron was born July 9, 1963. I was born January 19, 1977. We were married April 18, 1996. We have three handsome sons that are growing up way too fast! We live in Delaware.           Ron retired from the Marine Corps on July 31, 2003. We're both very proud of the Marine Corps and of our country... wish more people felt that way. Ron and I are subcontractors for Comcast, so we do cable installation.       The Entrance is the first page you see when you come to our site. Together tells about how Ron and I met and got together.. from the first time we saw each other. Rebecca's Sanctuary is a page all about me. Ron's Den is a page dedicated to my husband. Our Boys is a page for our three sons. Followed by, Kyle's Domain, Brett's Cave and Brandon's Room which are individual pages for each of our boys. Tributes is a page of dedications to our loved ones who have passed away. Our Weddings features our two weddings, Hawaii and Delaware, with LOTS of pictures. United States Marine Corps is a page dedicated to the Corps.. and all fellow military who have served this country. It also has the Beirut Memorial with pictures on it. Graphics by Rebecca is a page of linkware websets that I have created for your use! Links & Banner Exchange links of my friends' websites, and many other sites, and you can download my banner(s) and submit yours to me to put up on this site. Sentiments is a page of meaningful stories, great poems, and funny jokes that I just wanted to share. Webrings all of our webrings and a couple other important links are on this page. SEA Dedication is a page dedicated to a wonderful women's group, Simply Enchanting Angels, that I belong to. American Tragedy is a site dedicated to the victims of 9/11.
